I am Atsuo Yanagisawa, and it is my great honor to serve as Chair of this commemorative seminar organized by the Japanese Society of Intravenous Therapy.
Aging is no longer viewed simply as an unavoidable part of life. It is increasingly becoming a biological process that science may allow us to influence and manage.
Cancer treatment, regenerative medicine, and aging research are advancing rapidly. No longer developing as separate fields, they are becoming increasingly interconnected and are progressing through their influence on one another.
For this seminar, we have invited distinguished physicians and researchers working at the forefront of these fields.
Our speakers include Dr. Takahiro Ochiya, internationally recognized for his pioneering work in exosome research; Dr. Makoto Nakanishi, a leading authority on aging research; and Dr. Toru Mizoguchi, a pioneer in molecular nutrition. They will be joined by clinicians who have led the clinical application of therapies such as high-dose intravenous vitamin C.
The program will span the latest developments in basic research as well as practical clinical applications that can be brought directly into everyday patient care.
